Honored to Serve: State Vice President of United Doctors Front, Uttar Pradesh (2025-26)

I am honored to share that I have been officially appointed as the State Vice President of the United Doctors Front (UDF) for Uttar Pradesh for the tenure 2025–26. This role offers me a valuable opportunity to serve the medical fraternity and contribute meaningfully to the collective voice of doctors across the state.

This appointment is under the leadership of:

Chairperson: Dr. Lakshya Mittal

State President: Dr. Hritwik Bhardwaj

What is the United Doctors Front?

United Doctors Front (UDF) is a registered NGO and public charitable trust enlisted with NITI Aayog, Government of India. UDF aims to empower doctors and strengthen healthcare systems through advocacy, support, and policy dialogue. It represents doctors from all sectors—academic, clinical, and public health—under one united platform.

Why This Matters to Me

As an academician in Anatomy and a frontline medical educator, I’ve seen firsthand the systemic issues that affect young doctors—from burnout to policy neglect. Taking on this leadership role allows me to push for practical changes, represent concerns at the policy level, and promote initiatives that strengthen both the healthcare system and the medical community.

Looking Ahead

Under the mentorship of our Chairperson Dr. Lakshya Mittal, I am confident that the 2025–26 tenure will be marked by purpose-driven actions, transparent leadership, and medical solidarity.

Let’s work together to build a healthier system, where doctors are heard, valued, and protected.

In Unity and Service,

Dr. Ankit Sharma

State Vice President – Uttar Pradesh

United Doctors Front (UDF)
